In the main test the lowest temperature where an ignition was observed was 150.0 °C. The mean flash point is corrected to the ambient pressure to be 151.01 °C. The resulting average corrected flash point rounded down to the nearest multiple of 0.5 °C is 151.0 °C.

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Conclusions:
The flash point of the test substance was determined to be 151.0 °C at 1012.3 - 1012.8 hPa.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted according to Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 method A.9 and ISO 2719:2002 to determine flash point of the test item using the Pensky-Martens closed cup method. The start temperature for the main test (150 °C) was chosen based on preliminary test results. Approx. 62 g of the test item was filled in the cup and heated to the estimated temperature. The measured flash point at atmospheric pressure was corrected to a standard pressure of 1013 hPa. The flash point was determined to be at 151.01 °C (corrected to the ambient pressure). Thus, the flash point of the test item was determined to be 151.0 °C (corrected and rounded down to the nearest multiple of 0.5 °C) at 1012.3 - 1012.8 hPa.

Description of key information

The flash point of the test substance was determined to be 151.0 °C at 1012.3 - 1012.8 hPa.
