First-aid measures
If inhaled : Remove the casualty into fresh air and keep him calm.
In case of skin contact : In case of contact with skin, clean with soap and water.
In case of eye contact : Rinse the affected eye with plenty of water, at the same time keep the unaffected eye well protected.
If swallowed : If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label.
Fire-fighting measures
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Full water jet, carbon dioxide (may raise dust)
In case of fires, hazardous combustion gases are formed: Carbon monoxide (CO), Carbon dioxide (CO2), under certain conditions of combustion traces of other toxic substances cannot be excluded
Do not inhale explosion and/or combustion gases, use self-contained breathing apparatus
Fire residues and contaminated firefighting water must be disposed of in accordance with the local regulations.
Accidental release measures
Environmental precautions : Do not allow entry to drains, water courses or soil. Contain contaminated water/firefighting water. If the product gets into drains, inform the relevant authorities immediately.
Methods for cleaning up : Take up mechanically. Avoid raising dust. Clean contaminated floors and objects thoroughly, observing environmental regulations. When picked up, treat material as prescribed under heading "Disposal". Containers in which spilt substance has been collected must be adequately labelled.
Handling and storage
Provide exhaust ventilation if dust is formed.
In principle, with organic products which are -intentionally or unintentionally- in powdered form, the danger of a dust explosion should be kept in mind. Take precautionary measures against electrostatic charges - earthing necessary during loading operations.
Keep container tightly closed in a well-ventilated place. Protect from heat and direct sunlight. Do not store or transport together with foodstuffs

Exposure controls / personal protection
Provide exhaust ventilation if dust is formed.
Respiratory protection : Avoid breathing dust. For short term and if exposure to dust is expected, use an appropriate dust mask.
Hand protection :
Suitable:
Nitrile rubber gloves. Butyl rubber gloves. With solid dry substances permeation is not to be expected, therefore the breakthrough-time for this protective glove has not been measured. Gloves should be discarded and replaced if there is any indication of degradation or chemical breakthrough.
Please observe the instructions regarding permeability and breakthrough time which are provided by the supplier of the gloves. Also take into consideration the specific local conditions under which the product is used, such as the danger of cuts, abrasion, and the contact time. Follow the skin protection plan.
Eye protection : safety glasses
Skin and body protection : Long sleeved clothing
Wear as appropriate: Lightweight protective clothing
Suitable:
Protective clothing Category III, type 5 - Particle-tight Disposable suit. Choose body protection according to the amount and
concentration of the dangerous substance at the work place.
Hygiene measures : Do not eat, drink or smoke during work time.
Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately and clean thoroughly before using again. Keep away from foodstuffs and beverages.
Clean hands and face during work intervals and after work. Avoid contact of the substance. Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
Stability and reactivity
Disposal considerations
Observe local authority regulations.
Contaminated packaging : Packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of as product waste. For disposal local regulation is binding.
