Additional information

As key study a static GLP-study according to OECD 201 regarding the toxicity to Raphidocelis subcapitata (reported as Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata) was identified. It was performed with five test concentrations plus control ranging from 6.25 to 100 mg/L (BASF, 2016). After 72h of exposure a NOECr of 50 mg/L and an ErC50 of >100 mg/L was estimated, related to nominal concentrations. The results are based on nominal concentrations because the measured concentrations over the test duration ranges from 108.2 to 116.9 % of the nominal concentrations. It can be concluded that the substance is with high probability acutely not harmful to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria.
