Additional information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VII, the study does not need to be conducted if there are no chemical groups associated with explosive properties present in the molecule. According to Directive 67/548/EEC (DSD) criteria (as described in the Manual of Decisions for implementation of the 6th and 7th amendments, 2006, §13.2.3), and according to Regulation (EC) N°1272/2008 (CLP) criteria and screening procedure (as listed in appendix 6 to the UN Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods - Manual of Tests and Criteria (5th revised edition, 2009) or in the ECHA endpoint specific guidance on information requirements (R.7a, 2008, §R.7.1.11.3)), no reactive group was identified. Then explosive properties are not anticipated, and the acceptance procedure for Class 1 explosives shall not apply, no further testing is required. Moreover, according to CLP and UN criteria, no structural group associated with self-reactive properties is present, therefore subsequent classification shall not apply either.
