Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Ensure that the First Aid Personnel are aware of the product involved, and take precautions to protect themselves (e.g. wear personal protection
equipment). Remove from exposure, lie down.
If inhaled : Remove the casualty into fresh air and keep him calm.
In case of skin contact : In case of contact with skin, clean with soap and water.
In case of eye contact : Rinse the affected eye with plenty of water, at the same time keep the unaffected eye well protected. If easy to do,
remove contact lens, if worn.
Ingestion is not a considered route of exposure.
If accidentially swallowed : Rinse mouth with water. Seek medical advice immediately and show safety data sheet or label.
Fire-fighting measures
Specific hazards during firefighting: In case of fires, hazardous combustion gases can be formed, as Carbon monoxide (CO)
Carbon dioxide (CO2). Under certain conditions of combustion traces of other toxic substances cannot be excluded.
Special protective equipment for firefighters: In case of fire and if needed use self-contained breathing apparatus
Further information : Fire residues and contaminated firefighting water must be disposed of in accordance with the local regulations.
Accidental release measures
Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid breathing dust. Avoid dust formation.
Environmental precautions : Do not allow entry to drains, water courses or soil. Contain contaminated water/firefighting water.
Methods for cleaning up : Contain spillage, and then collect with an electrically protected vacuum cleaner or by wet-brushing
and place in container for disposal according to local regulations.
Handling and storage
Avoid the formation and deposition of dust.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion : Dust might form an explosive mixture with air. Take measures to prevent the build up of
electrostatic charge. Keep away from sources of ignition - refrain from smoking. Observe the general rules of industrial fire protection.
Requirements for storage areas and containers : Store in original container. Keep containers tightly closed in a dry, cool and wellventilated
place. Keep away from food, drink and animal feedingstuffs.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Respiratory protection : In case of dust formation, use a fine dust face mask.
Hand protection : Nitrile rubber gloves. Butyl rubber gloves. With solid dry substances permeation is not to be expected, therefore the breakthrough-time for this protective glove has not been measured. The suitability for a specific workplace should be discussed with the producers of the protective gloves.
Eye protection : Tightly fitting safety goggles according to EN 163.
Skin and body protection : Long sleeved clothing. Wear as appropriate: Protective clothing Category III, type 5 - Particle-tight, Disposable suit
Hygiene measures : Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Do not eat, drink or smoke during work time.
Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately and clean thoroughly before using again. Garments that cannot be cleaned must be destroyed (burnt). Clean hands and face during work intervals and after work. Use barrier skin cream. Follow the skin protection plan.
Protective measures : Do not inhale dust. The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific workplace.
Environmental exposure controls
General advice : Do not allow entry to drains, water courses or soil. Contain contaminated water/firefighting water.
Stability and reactivity
Disposal considerations
Product : Special waste incineration plant, after consultation with operators. Observe local authority regulations.
Contaminated packaging : Packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of as product waste. For disposal local regulation is binding.
