Data waiving:
study technically not feasible
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the flash point is only relevant to liquids and low melting point solids
Justification for type of information:
In accordance with Column 2 "SPECIFIC RULES FOR ADAPTATION FROM COLUMN 1" of Annex VII from Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, this study does not need to be conducted based on the physical state of the substance. According to ECHA guidance, flash point is only relevant to substances that are liquid or solid with low melting point. The target substance is a powder/solid at room temperature with a melting point >350 °C, hence the study is considered to be technically not feasible.

Description of key information

The target substance is a powder/solid at room temperature with a melting point >350 °C, hence the study is considered to be technically not feasible.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
