Results and discussion

Any other information on results incl. tables

The test has designed to assess the corrosion hazard for an appropriate classification for transport.

Shell erosion caused by uniform corrosion causes a reduction in the shell thickness which does not exceed 0.5 mm per annum and local corrosion occurrences in form of pitting corrosion, stress corrosion cracking and crevice corrosion cannot be excluded.

On the basis of the test results the test substance is considered to exhibit a danger of corrosion to metals in the sense of the directive.
