Results:
At 23°C / 43% RH, the minimum ignition energy (MIE) of BI 1356 quinazoline was found to be 55 mJ (Es = 55 mJ).

Conclusions:
BI 1356 quinazoline dusts are classified as exhibiting normal sensitivity to ignition.Brush discharges (e.g., from electrostatically charged poly bags) are not capable of causing a BI 1356 quinazoline dust explosion.However, a BI 1356 quinazoline dust explosion could be caused by sparks or propagating brush discharges
