Administrative data

First-aid measures

General information:
In case of accident or if you feel unwell seek medical advice (show label or SDS where possible).
After inhalation:
Provide fresh air.
After contact with the skin:
Wash with plenty of water or water and soap. In the event of a visible skin change or other complaints, seek medical advice
(show label or SDS where possible).
After contact with the eyes:
Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Seek medical advice in case of continuous irritation.
After swallowing:
Give several small portions of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media:
water spray, extinguishing powder, foam, alcohol-resistant foam.
Extinguishing media which must not be used for safety reasons:
water jet .
Special exposure hazards arising from the substance or preparation itself, combustion products, resulting gases:
At low oxygen level: irritating substances. Heavy soot formation during combustion. Hazardous combustion products: carbon monoxide.
Special protective equipment for fire fighting:
Use respiratory protection independent of recirculated air.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions:
Wear personal protection equipment (see section 8). Avoid dust formation. Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
Environmental precautions:
Cover any spilled material in accordance with regulations to prevent dispersal by wind. Prevent material from entering surface waters,
drains or sewers and soil. Dispose of in prescribed marked containers. Observe local/state/federal regulations.
Methods for cleaning up:
Damp down, absorb mechanically and dispose according to local/state/federal regulations. Avoid formation of dust and dust deposition.

Handling and storage

Handling
Precautions for safe handling:
Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid dust formation.
Precautions against fire and explosion:
Fine dust may form explosive mixture with air. Avoid dust deposit, remove dust regularly. Take precautionary measures against electrostatic
charging. Keep away from sources of ignition and do not smoke. Observe the general rules for fire prevention.
Storage
Conditions for storage rooms and vessels:
Protect against light.
Advice for storage of incompatible materials:
Do not store together with oxidizing agents like peroxides etc.
Further information for storage:
Keep container tightly closed and store in a well-ventilated place.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Exposure limits
-
Exposure limited and controlled
Exposure in the work place limited and controlled
General protection and hygiene measures:
Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not eat, drink or smoke when handling.
Personal protection equipment
Respiratory protection:
In case of dust formation: fine dust mask P2 .
Hand protection:
rubber gloves.
Eye protection:
tight fitting protective goggles .
Exposure to the environment limited and controlled:
Prevent material from entering surface waters, drains or sewers and soil.

Stability and reactivity

General information:
Risk of self accelerating decomposition reaction. Ensure adequate stabilisation.
Conditions to avoid:
Possibility of spontaneous polymerization of unstabilized product by ambient temperature.
Ensure adequate stabilisation.
Materials to avoid:
Radical initiators (peroxid, light, heat, heavy metal compounds) may cause polymerization.
Hazardous decomposition products:
If stored and handled in accordance with standard industrial practices and local regulations where applicable: none known .

Disposal considerations

Material
Recommendation:
Dispose of according to regulations by incineration in a special waste incinerator. Observe local/state/federal regulations.
Uncleaned packaging
Recommendation:
Completely discharge containers (no tear drops, no powder rest, scraped carefully). Containers may be recycled or re-used.
Observe local/state/federal regulations. Uncleaned packaging should be treated with the same precautions as the material.
