Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- 3 tests were performed, giving the following results:
LC50 (14d) = 62.9 mg/kg dw soil
LC50 (14d) = 63.7 mg/kg dw soil
LC50 (14d) = 389.2 mg/kg dw soil - Executive summary:
The acute toxicity to earthworms (Eisenia foetida) was tested with aluminium phosphide and two commercial formulated products with aluminium phosphide active substance. A 14 day-LC50 of 663.5 mg Aluminium Phosphide/kg soil was observed in the active substance study; while 14 day-LC50 values of 185.01 and 187.74 mg product/kg soil (equivalent to 107.3 and 108.6 mg a.s./kg soil) were observed for the formulations. No relevant risk for earthworms was identified.
