Conclusions:
The autoignition temperature of the test substance was determined to be 383°C.
Executive summary:

There was a sharp delineation for autoignition temperature with autoignition observed at 383 °C and no visible ignition observed at 382°C. The ignition delay time was 0.13 minutes and barometric pressure was 760 mm Hg. Cool-flame autoignition was not observed.

Description of key information

The autoignition temperature of the test substance was determined to be 383°C according to ASTM E 659-78.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
383 °C

Additional information

There was a sharp delineation for autoignition temperature with autoignition observed at 383°C and no visible ignition observed at 382°C. The ignition delay time was 0.13 minutes and barometric pressure was 760 mm Hg. Cool-flame autoignition was not observed (Data from Huntsman, 2013 study).
