Additional information

The acute toxicity of Fatty acids, C18 unsaturated, ethyl & methyl esters (EC 941-981-3) to fish was tested in a limit test according to OECD 203. Fish of the species Danio rerio were exposed to a test substance concentration of 100 mg/L for 96 hours. No mortality was observed. Thus a LC50(96 h) >100 mg/L was reported.

Based on the results of the available short-term toxicity study (in accordance to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 Annex XI, 1.5) it can be concluded that Fatty acids, C18 unsaturated, ethyl & methyl esters (EC 941-981-3) is not acutely toxic to fish up to the limit of water solubility.
