Between approx. 245 °C and 370 °C an endothermic effect was visible. This appears to be the boiling range of the test item. Additionally a decomposition of the test item seems to take place. This assumption is supported by the light yellowish colour of the residue in the crucible. Between 375 °C and 450 °C another endothermic effect could be observed.

A differential thermoanalysis method (DTA) was used to determine the boiling point which conforms with the procedure Test method A.2, "Determination of the boiling point", described in the EC-Guideline. A boiling range of the test item between approx. 245 to 370 °C could be observed. After the boiling process a decomposition of the substance seems to take place. This is supported by the light yellowish colour of the residue in the crucible. Between 375 °C and 450 °C another endothermic effect could be observed.
