Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Acute toxicity to fish: After 96 h a LC50 of 17.6 mg/L was determined. The result is expressed in terms of nominal concentrations.

Acute toxicity to daphnia: After 48 h an EC50 of 16.3 mg/L was determined. The results are relating to measured concentrations (arithmetic mean).

Toxicity to freshwater algae: The 72 h-EC50 for growth rate reduction based on nominal concentrations was 0.167 mg/L (95 % confidence interval 0.1419 to 0.1958 mg/L) and for yield inhibition based on nominal concentrations was 0.050 mg/L (95 % confidence interval 0.0469 to 0.0549 mg/L). The NOEC for both growth rate reduction and yield inhibition (nominal concentrations) was 0.019 mg/L.

Toxicity to microorganisms: Up to a saturated solution, there was no effect on growth of Pseudomona putida. The 16 h-EC10 was determined to be >189 mg/L (measured concentrations, arithmetic mean).

All toxicity studies mentioned above are classified as acceptable and satisfy the guideline requirements for the toxicity studies on acute toxicity to aquatic organisms.
