Key result
Test procedure:
burning rate test: preliminary screening test
Burning time:
< 3 min
Remarks on result:
substance does not ignite and propagate combustion either by burning with flame or smouldering along 200 mm of the powder train within the 2 minutes test period
Pyrophoric solids
Key result
Remarks on result:
not measured/tested
Remarks:
under normal handling no ignition observed
Substances / mixtures which in contact with water emit flammable gases
Key result
Remarks on result:
no reaction with water observed
Remarks:
in a water solubility test

Any other information on results incl. tables

The flame of the gas burner did ignite the test item pile. The test item melted, burned with a blue flame and turned into a beige residue. Grey smoke was observed. After removal of the ignition source, the flame extinguished immediately and no propagation of combustion was observed.
