Additional information

Two reliable studies on ready biodegradability are available concluding that ITC 288/S is not readily biodegradable. Additionally, a reliable study on biodegradability in sea water is available showing that ITC 288/S cannot be considered to have a potential for biodegradation in the marine environment.

No additional study on biodegradation in water has been performed as the chemical safety assessment indicates no need to investigate further the fate and behaviour of the substance.

No study on biodegradation in soil and sediment have been performed as exposure of these compartments is expected to be limited.
