Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The pure substance melted at approximately 160 °C and flowed out of the basket before self-heating occurred. At 390 °C probably residues of the melt at the end of the thermocouple showed an exothermal effect.
UN Transport Regulations: Due to the results from the Grewer-Oven-Test the substance has not to be classified as “self-heating substance” (class 4.2).

Executive summary:

The substance was tested for autoflammability according to VDI 2263 sheet 1 (screening in the Grewer oven).

The pure substance melted at approximately 160 °C and flowed out of the basket before self-heating occurred. At 390 °C probably residues of the melt at the end of the thermocouple showed an exothermal effect.
