Additional information

In a study conducted to guideline OECD 302B, the substance trimethylolpropane diallyl ether (TMPDE) was 72% biodegraded over 28 days (i.e.> 70%). The substance TMPDE is therefore considered inherently and ultimately biodegradable. However, the pass level of 70% biodegradation was not achieved within a 7 day window.

In accordance with REACH Annex XI, based on available data, the substance is not classified as hazardous for the environment. Therefore degradation simulation testing in water and/or sediment and in soil do not need to be conducted.
