Appearence:

The tests for clarity and coloration of the test item were performed on the basis of Ph.Eur. 2.2.1. “Clarity and degree of opalescence of liquids” and Ph.Eur. 2.2.2. “Degree of coloration of liquids”.

Method:

Using identical tubes of colourless, transparent, neutral glass 2.0 ml of the liquid to be examined were compared with 2.0 ml of water R. The colour and transparency were compared, viewing horizontally against a white background (translucent glass backlit by fluorescent lamp).
