First-aid measures

- Emergency measure - Inhalation: If there is exposure to large amounts of the substance, remove immediately to fresh air and if necessary seek medical assistance.

- Emergency measure - Eyes: Wash immediately with clean water or eye-wash fluid and if necessary seek medical assistance.

- Emergency measure - Skin: If there is excessive exposure of the skin to the substance, wash with soap and water.

- Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek immediate medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Use extinguishing media appropriate to the surrounding material.

Product arising from burning: The substance is an inorganic material and is not combustible.

Protective equipment: Full protective clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus must be worn.

Fight the fire from a safe distance or protected location.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment during clean up.

Wash, shovel or sweep and place in solid waste containers.

Clean up dusts and fibres with high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) fiters vacuum equipment

Handling and storage

Handling: The substance should be stored, handled and used under conditions of good industrial hygiene and in accordance to any local regulations in order to avoid exposure.

Risk management measures are necessary to reduce exposure to the substance by inhalation.

When exposure cannot be prevented or adequately controlled appropriate personal protective equipment (including espiratory protective equipment) should be worn. The protective equipment should be conform to the appropriate international or national standards and as a minimum the following should be used in order to reduce and control the exposure. These measures should be regarded as a minimum.

Storage: Store away from humidity at room temperature.

Keep containers tightly closed when not in use.
