Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The substance is not classified for the environmental and no toxicity has been observed in the acute toxicity studies conducted, therefore it is considered to be unnecessary to derive PNECs.

Conclusion on classification

The substance is not classified for the environment based on results from acute toxicity tests in three species (fish, daphnia and algae), biodegradation and physico-chemical properties.

No toxicity was observed in algal, daphnia and fish studies.

The classification criteria for Acute/Chronic Category 1 and Chronic categories 2 and 3 are therefore not met.

A classification of Chronic Category 4 is also not applicable, as although the substance is not readily biodegradable it has a log Kow/Pow below 4 (<1.6), indicating a low potential for bioaccumulation.
