Description of key information

a.) Flammability: The substance can be classified as a not readily combustible solid when tested according to UN-MTC Procedure N.1.

b.) Pyrophoric properties: The substance did not deliver indications of pyrophoric properties during the realization of other tests. The determination according to UN-MTC Procedure N.2 is not necessary.

c.) Contact with water: A review of the structure suggests that there are no chemical groups present that would imply pyrophoric properties or flammability on contact with water. A review of handling and used implies no pyrophoric properties or flammability on contact with water. Testing according to UN Procedure N.5 is not necessary.

d.) Self-heating substances: In accordance with Annex I, part 2, section 2.11 of the CLP regulation No 1272/2008 a study does not need to be conducted, as the substance has a low melting point (<160 °C) and is completely molten at this temperature.
