The test was conducted in accordance with the EPA guideline OPP 81-6 and was performed to GLP standard. The study was considered robust enough to be key. No signs of sensitisation were observed.

A Buehler-type skin sensitisation study was performed on Flumetsulam using guinea pigs.
Challenge application of Flumetsulam caused no reaction in any of the animals. Under the conditions of the study, Flumetsulam did not cause delayed contact hypersensitivity in guinea pigs.
