Description of key information

The surface tension of an aqueous solution of 1,3-bis(3-methyl-2,5-dioxo-1H-pyrrolinylmethyl)benzene were measured at 65.1 mN/m at 21 °C by a concentration of 29.6 mg/L (72.5 % of saturation) and at 69.5 mN/m at 21 °C by a concentration of 14.0 mg/L (34.3 % of saturation).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Surface tension:
65.1
in mN/m at 20°C and concentration in mg/L:
29.6

Additional information

The concentration of the solution should be 90% of the saturation solubility of the substance. 29.6 mg/L are 72.5 % and 14.0 mg/L 34.3 % of the saturation.
