Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Executive summary:

The acute toxicity of the substance to Daphnia magna was determined in a 48-hour static test according to the OECD Guideline 202 (Daphnia sp. Acute Immobilisation Test). In the control and in all test concentrations no immobilization of the daphnids were observed after 48 hours. The EC50 values is greater than 1000 mg /L.

Description of key information

The acute toxicity of the test item to Daphnia magna was determined in a 48-hour static test according to the OECD Guideline 202 (Daphnia sp. Acute Immobilisation Test). Daphnids were exposed to the substance at 1000 mg/l. In the control and in all test concentrations no immobilization of the daphnids has been observed after 48 hours of substance exposure. The EC50 value therefore is set to be greater than 1000 mg/L.
