Description of key information

The LC50of 96 h of test substance FRET 05 -0293 on Zebrafish species was 3.351 mg/L (95% confidence limits of 2.949~4.124 mg/L) based on the measured concentration (geometric average) under the test conditions in this study, according to OECD test guideline 203. Treated group of test substance with nominal concentration of3.8, 4.6, 5.5, 6.6, 7.9 mg/L(geometric series with a factor of 1.2)plus blank group and solvent control group (acetone)were designed in the definitive test. Seven fish were used in each group without replicates. The duration of test was 96 hours in a semi-static exposure system with renewed test solution every 24 hours. The ratios of measured concentration to nominal concentration during test period were in the range of35.0%~68.6%during the test period. Results were calculated based on the measured concentrations (geometric average). According to the statistical analysis, the LC50 of 96 h was 3.351 mg/L (95% confidence limits of 2.949~4.124 mg/L) based on the measured concentration (geometric average).
