The decomposition behaviour was determined by differential thermal analysis (DTA) according to VDI 2263, leaf 1. The sample was heated in a closed glass crucible at a rate of 3 K/min. The temperature difference between sample and reference (Al2O3) was recorded. The following results were obtained:


Onset of exotherm: 330 °C


Heat release: 1500 J/g
