Description of key information

Irritation / corrosion:
In a study according to OECD guideline 404 the test substance was tested in a semiocclusive application of 500 mg/kg bw. in rabbits.
The exposure time was 4 h and the observation period 14 d.
No reddening or swelling of the tested skin region was observed. DRAIZE grade: 0
The test substance was not irritating or corrosive to the skin.
The test substance was tested accordingly to OECD guideline 405, were 100 µl (ca. 60 mg) of test material was applied to one eye of 3 rabbits.
The exposure time was 24 h and the observation time 21 d.
No reddening, swelling or lacrimal flow was observed.
The test substance was not irritating to the eye (Pauluhn 1986).
