Endpoint:
relative self-ignition temperature (solids)
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
2017
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.16 (Relative Self-Ignition Temperature for Solids)
Version / remarks:
2008
GLP compliance:
not specified
Relative self-ignition temperature:
321.4 °C

In the second experiment there was a sharp rise in temperature, reaching 408°C (which corresponds to the temperature of 400°C after correction) when the oven temperature was 328.9°C. In the case of the first experiment, there was a sharp rise in temperature, but the temperature did not exceed 408°C. The temperature after correction was 321.4°C.

Conclusions:
The relative self-ignition temperature of the test substance is 321.4°C.
Executive summary:

Method:

The relative self-ignition temperature for solids of test substance was performed according to the Method A.16. Relative self-ignition temperature for solids.

Results:

The relative self-ignition temperature of the test substance is 321.4°C.

Description of key information
