The test was performedbased on procedures presented in the Council of the European Communities, Method A.10,Flammability (Solids)(1).
A preliminary screening test was performed on the test substance. An unbroken line of the test substance measuring approximately 250 mm x 20 mm x 10 mm was prepared on a non-porous, non-combustible and low heat-conducting surface and the flame from a gas torch was applied to one end of the line for two minutes. The test substance melted and never ignited. The material was determined not to be highly flammable and no further testing was performed.

Justification for classification or non-classification
The classification criteria in accordance with the CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008. Powdered, granular or pasty substances or mixtures (except powders of metals or metal alloys) shall be classified as readily combustible solids when the time of burning of one or more of the test runs, performed in accordance with the test method described in Part III, sub-section 33.2.1, of the UN RTDG, Manual of Tests and Criteria, is less than 45 seconds or the rate of burning is more than 2.2 mm/s. As the test material did not ignite it was determined not to meet the criteria for classification and not highly flammable.
