Data on all three trophic levels are available (ECB 2000): After 24 h static exposure period no effects were observed in Petromyzon marinus with a concentration of 5 mg/L (effect endpoint: stress). The EC50 after 24 h in Daphnia magna was determined to be 35 mg/L. Tests with Chlorella pyrenoidosa resulted in a LOEC of 140 mg/L (endpoint: biomass) and in an EC100 after 72 h of 500 mg/L (endpoint: destruction of chlorophyll). Additional, data on fish toxicity were given in the Handbook of Environmental data on Organic Chemicals (4th Edition). The 48 h LC100 in goldfish is 20 mg/L.
