The substance is not considered to be harmful to aquatic organisms.

Additional information

Short-term toxicity tests on all three trophic levels were performed to examine the aquatic toxicity of the test substance. In these tests no adverse effects were observed up to a cocnentration of 130 mg a.i./L. No long-term toxicity tests on fish and aquatic invertebrates are available. The hazard assessment of the test substance reveals neither a need to classify the substance as dangerous for the environment, nor is it a PBT or vPvB substance. The short-term toxicity tests indicate that the substance is not harmful to aquatic organisms. In addition, the ready biodegradability and low log Pow and log Koc values do not indicate a risk of chronic expsoure or bioaccumulation in aquatic organisms. Therefore, and for reasons of animal welfare, long-term toxicity studie with fish or aquatic invertebrates are not deemed necessary.
