The average value of test item surface tension is: 25.6 ± 0.1 mN/m.

No distinct dependence of measured values of surface tension on the transfer time was observed.

The measured surface tension value was corrected by multiplying by the calibration factor Φb = 1.02.

Preliminary corrected value = Φ b x 25.6 = 1.02 x 25.6 = 26.1 mN/m

On the base of the polynomial equation the finally corrected value of test item surface tension was:

σ = -1.183 + 0.946·26.1 + 9.927·10-4·(26.1)2= 24.2 mN/m

Conclusions:
The evaluated, after corrections, the value of Di(tert-butoxy)diacetoxysilane surface tension at 20°C was determined to be 24.2 mN/m.
Executive summary:

The determination of surface tension was carried out using method EEC A.5: 1.6.4. OECD harmonized ring method. The surface tension (after corrections) of Di(tert-butoxy)diacetoxysilane at 20 ºC was determined to be 24.2 mN/m.
