Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Based on test item information mentioned in two toxicity study reports and one internal document (SDS), the density of the substance is selected by weight of evidence.

The values obtained in two study reports are in the same range (1.65 and 1.6 to 1.7 g/ml) but no temperature is specified. The data obtained in the internal document is a little lower than the other values but the temperature related to the test item density is given.

No details are described in these references about the experimental determination of the test item density (guideline or method followed, apparatus used).

The last reference is chosen as the key value for density (and relative density). Indeed, the temperature related to the density is specified only in this reference.
