Description of key information

Valid acute studies based on international guidelines are available for the two required aquatic trophic levels (aquatic invertebrates and algae).

Among data available, toxic effect were observed for the two aquatic trophic levels.

The algae is the most sensitive species with a 72h-ErL50 at 6.5 mg/L (quality with high level of alpha pinene/ Item 5). For the aquatic invertebrates Daphnia magna, the 48h-EL50 was determined to be 15 mg/L based on nominal loading rates.
