Conclusion on classification

Classification, Labelling, and Packaging Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008

The available experimental test data are reliable and suitable for classification purposes under Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 as amended for the seventh time in Regulation (EU) No 2015/1221. The test substance was found to be not biodegradable under the test conditions. The most sensitive test for the aquatic compartment was the toxicity test to algae and cyanobacteria. The test revealed a 72h-ErC50 of 5.25 mg/L and a 72h-NOEC of 1.05 mg/L.

Based on these results, the substance is not classified for aquatic acute toxicity. However, the substance is classified as aquatic chronic category 2, H411: “Toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects” according to table 4.1.0 of Annex I of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
