Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Based on the use pattern for this substance, direct and indirect exposure of sediment is unlikely. Fugacity level 3 modelling predicts that concentrations would be negligible (0.02ng/l) in sediment and around 0.01% of the concentration found in water. Protection of the aquatic phase should provide reliable protection for sediment dwelling species. The substance is also readily biodegradable. On the basis of these consideration as and that good aquatic toxicity information is available, no testing for sedimentary organism toxicity is therefore required.
