Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

There is one GLP study available investigating the toxicity of the substance to unicellular freshwater green algae according to the OECD guideline 201.

In a static test, Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata was exposed to five, nominal test solutions of 1.0, 3.16, 10.0, 31.6, and 100 mg/L for 72 h. Each test solution was freshly prepared by adding an appropriate amount of the test item to the dilution water and manually shaken until the test item was completely dissolved. The concentrations of the test item in all test concentrations and the control were analytically verified by GC-FID at the start (0 h) and end of exposure (72 h). The measured concentrations in the fresh media (0 h) were between 69 and 100% of the nominal values. The measured concentrations in the media after 72 h were between 73 and 103% of the nominal values. Therefore, all effect values are based on the geometric mean measured test item concentrations. The obtained effect concentrations after 72 h are an ErC10 of 9.4 mg/L and an ErC50 of 20.6 mg/L (both geometric mean).
