Endpoint:
flammable solids
Data waiving:
study technically not feasible
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because the substance is a liquid

Description of key information

For this endpoint, no study was conducted because the substance is a liquid and flash point determination should be used to evaluate the ease of ignition.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

The flammability of liquids is determined based on the substance's flash point.

The flash point was experimentally determined to be 134°C at atmospheric pressure.

In accordance with the criteria described in section 2.6.2 of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on the classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP), a liquid having a flash point of 134°C does not require classification as a flammable liquid.
