Description of key information

1. The vapour pressure of the substance was found to be 0.066 Pa at 24°C.

2. The partition coefficient of Cedryl Acetate has been determined as log P = 6.0 at 25°C in a study equivalent to OECD Guideline 117 (HPLC Method).

3. The water solubility of Cedryl Acetate was determined to be 0.99 mg/l @ 24°C using a study equivalent to OECD TG 105 (Water solubility) using the shake flask method.

4. Cedryl acetate was biodegraded by 73% at day 28 in the standard Closed Bottle screening test and should therefore be classified as readily biodegradable.

5. Skin irritation (OECD TG 439): not irritating

Eye irritation (OECD TG 405): not irritating

6. Skin sensitisation (OECDTG429): sensitising

7. Ames test (OECD TG 471): not mutagenic.

8. Acute oral toxicity (similar to OECD TG 401): 44,750 mg/kg bw.
