25 °C

Additional information

The Partition Coefficient of 1,1-Dimethylpropyl 1 -methoxycyclohexyl peroxide has been determined applying the procedure described in the OECD Guideline 123 Partition Coefficient (1 -Octanol/water), Slow-Stirring Method and according to GLP requirements (Chastenet, 2016).

The definitive test was performed in triplicate vessels, the mixtures were stirred magnetically for about 72 hours at 25°C. Six sampling time points were taken in each reaction vessel, separated by a minimum of five hours over the test period. The four latest consecutive time points were selected to determine the average value of log Kow (calculated as the average of the results of the individual experimental units weighted with their respective variances): the weighted average value of the 1-octanol/water partition coefficient log Kow of

the test item is equal to 4.040 ± 0.001 at 25 ± 1 °C.
