First-aid measures

- Eye Contact: Rinse continuously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.

- Skin Contact: Wash with plenty of soap and water. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

- Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell.

- Ingestion: Rinse mouth. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician. Never make an unconscious person vomit or drink fluid.

- Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed: No information

- Indication of any immediate medical attention a d special treatment needed: No specific antidote. Supportive care. Treatment based on judgment of physician in response to symptoms of patient.

Fire-fighting measures

- Extinguishing media: Carbon dioxide, dry chemical, foam or water spray.

Unsuitable extinguishing media: Not known

- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture

Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards : Thermal decomposition or combustion may produce carbon dioxide,

carbon monoxide and hydrogen chloride.

- Advice for firefighters

Protective equipment : Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and complete personal protective equipment.

Other information : Move containers away from fire areas if it can be done.

If impossible to remove containers from fire zone, cool them with water spray.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precaution, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Remove ignition sources, prevent skin and eye contact.

- Environmental precautions: Prevent entering into drains, ditches or rivers.

- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Ventilate. Remove all ignition sources. Collect leaking and spilled liquid in sealable containers as far as possible. Absorb remaining liquid in sand or inert absorbent and remove to safe place.

Handling and storage

- Precautions for safe handling:

Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.

Avoid contact with open flame, sparks, and other sources of ignition.

Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at the work place.

Wash with water and soap thoroughly after handling.

Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product.

- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:

Store in a cool, dry place in tightly closed containers.

Store locked up.

Keep away from oxidizing agents, and high temperature.

- Specific end use: Material for solvent, organic synthesis and coating.
