Results and discussion

Density
Key result
Type:
density
Density:
1.19 g/cm³
Temp.:
20 °C
Remarks on result:
other: The difference between the results of the first and third measurements was < 0.02 g/cm³. According to the guideline, the density of the test item is therefore given as the mean value.

Any other information on results incl. tables

The density (ρ) of a substance is the quotient of its mass and its volume and is expressed in SI units of kg/m³.

The difference between the results of the measurements 1 and 3 was <0.02 g/cm³, while the coefficient of variation of measurement 2 was > 1.00%, therefore this measurement was not included for further calculations and the density of the test item is given as the mean value of measurement 1 and 3.

The individual density measurements were 1.187 g/cm³ (test 1) and 1.195 g/cm³ (test 3).

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The density of the test item at 20ºC was 1.19 g/cm³ (1.19 x 10³ kg/m³).
