Hazard assessment conclusion:
no hazard identified

Hazard for terrestrial organisms

Soil

Hazard assessment conclusion:
no exposure of soil expected

Hazard for predators

Secondary poisoning

Hazard assessment conclusion:
no potential for bioaccumulation

Additional information

According to the Guidance on Information requirements and CSA, Part B, Chapter B.7.2.7.no bioaccumulation of "Dibutyl fumerate" is expected as the mitigating property of ready biodegradability rules out the log Kow >= 3.

Conclusion on classification

A classification according to CLP is required for acute and chronic aquatic toxicity, as the EC50 48 h of Daphniae and the LC50 96 for Fish is 0.1 mg/L, and DBF being rapidly degradable, the chronic toxicity NOEC fish is lower than 0.01 mg/l.
