Description of key information
Appearence/ Physical state/ colour:
From the above source it is concluded that the 2 -[(4 -aminophenyl) amino]-5 -nitrobenzenesulfonic acid solid is having faint odor & brown to green color.
Melting Poinr:
Based on prediction done using MPBPVP v1.43,the melting point of chemical 2-[(4-aminophenyl) amino]-5-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid estimated to be 298.54 degree C.
Boiling Point:
Based on prediction done using MPBPVP v1.43,the Boiling point of chemical 2-[(4-aminophenyl) amino]-5-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid was estimated to be 683.98˚C.
Density:
Prdicted value of density of 2 -[(4 -aminophenyl) amino]-5 -nitrobenzenesulfonic acid is 1.607 g/cm3
Particle size distribution:
The particle size distribution of 2-[(4-aminophenyl) amino]-5-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid was determined by granulometric analysis with rotap sieve shaker. The particle size distribution was determined to be in the range of 150 micron to 53 micron.
Vapour Pressure:
The estimated vapour pressure of 2-[(4-aminophenyl) amino]-5-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid at 25 deg C was 7.01E-18 Pa.
Partition Coefficient:
The estimated logPOW of 2-[(4-aminophenyl) amino]-5-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid was -2.38.
Water Solublity:
Based on available data from authoritative database the water solubility of chemical 2-[(4-aminophenyl) amino]-5-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid is determined to be 7.8 g/L at 20 Deg C.
Surface tension:
Based on the data from ACD labs, surface tension for test item was predicted to be 0.0854 N/m.
Flash Point:
Flash point of 2-[(4-aminophenyl) amino]-5-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid is calculated to be 450.77 Deg C at 1 atm.
Autoflammablity:
2-[(4-aminophenyl) amino]-5-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid did not catch fire on being exposed to air at room temperature of 27°Cpressure of 966 hPa. This indicates that 2-[(4-aminophenyl) amino]-5-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid is not auto-flammable.
Flammablity:
2-[(4-aminophenyl) amino]-5-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid does not indicate any ignition when the flame of bunsen burner having temperature of approximately 950°C is brought in contact with it. Thus it can be concluded that 2-[(4-aminophenyl) amino]-5-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid is not flammable at high temperature. However since such high temperatures are not found under normal circumstances of transportation and use, thus 2-[(4-aminophenyl) amino]-5-nitrobenzenesulfonic acid was considered non-flammable for chemical safety assessment.
Explosivness:
the study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with explosive properties
the study does not need to be conducted because the substance contains chemical groups associated with explosive properties which include oxygen, but the calculated oxygen balance is less than - 200
Oxidising Properties:
the study does not need to be conducted because the organic substance contains oxygen or halogen atoms which are chemically bonded only to carbon or hydrogen and hence, the classification procedure does not need to be applied
