According to the REACH Regulation (EC) No.1907/2006, Annex VII Column 2 the study does not to be conducted if:
- The substance is incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials, for example on the basis of the chemical structure (e.g. organic substances not containing oxygen or halogen atoms and these elements are not chemically bonded to nitrogen or oxygen, or inorganic substances not containing oxygen or halogen atoms).
- It is deemed not to be potentally oxidising , based on the chemical structure, the oxygen balance value and the known experience in the endling use of substances.
Justification for classification or non-classification
Based on the information and review of the substance, it is deemed not to be potentially oxidising, based on the chemical structure, the oxygen balance value and the known experience in the endling use of substances.
Threfore the substance is not classified as oxidising, according to the CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008.
