Additional information

One study, investigating toxic effects of Fatty acids, C6-18, triesters with trimethylolpropane (CAS 91050-88-3) to the freshwater algaePseudokirchneriella subcapitataaccording to OECD 201, is available (Bouillon, 2011). Growth inhibition caused by the test substance was determined after 24, 48 and 72 h of exposure to a loading ratio 1 g/1000 g (Water Accommodated Fraction). The highest observed algae growth inhibition was 15.5%. Overall, the mean algae growth inhibition was 7.9%. Thus, an EL50 (72 h) of > 1000 mg/L was derived.
