Applying a linear increase in temperature of about 0.5°C/min, Red Rwa 4565 showed an exothermic reaction starting at about 250°C. A maximum temperature of 547°C was measured in the sample cube during the exothermic reaction. At the end of the measurement, the test item was carbonized and coloured black with a grey shining surface. Red Rwa 4565 shows a relative self-ignition temperature at about 261°C.
