Description of key information

Conclusions The octanol-water partition coefficient of the target Indole was estimated by using three different predictors in order to assess and combine the predictions and thus enhance the reliability of the final prediction. In the combined assessment only reliable predictions are to be taken into account.  The three employed predictors provided equally reliable LogP predictions (i.e., high reliable predictions). Thus, the final LogKow prediction was computed as the arithmetic mean among ACD/LogP Classic, ACD/LogP GALAS and KOWWIN predictions, leading to a LogP prediction equal to 2.24. The prediction was assessed as high reliable.
