Description of key information

A saturated test solution with the concentration of 4.6 mg/L (calculated on the basis of TOC-analysis) had no adverse effects on the mobility of Daphnia within 48 hours.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water invertebrates

Fresh water invertebrates
Effect concentration:
4.6 mg/L

Additional information

"Should read: > 4.6 mg/L"

Since 10% immobilized Daphnia is accepted for the control group according to the guideline and there was no increase in the number of immobilized Daphnia from 24 to 48 hours, the immobilization observed in the test solution is considered spontaneous and not related to the test substance.
